10 Songs that hit the ARIA Top 500 and Seemingly Never Left

A few months ago marked 10 years since the release of Kanye’s Graduation album. While it’s impressive to note the popularity of the record a decade later, what’s truly impressive about the album is that the song “Stronger” has stuck around the ARIA top 500 for ten straight years.  That is 522 straight weeks of being a top 500 song.

However, “Stronger” is not the only track on the list hitting it’s 10 year anniversary. “Low” by Flo Rida featuring, T-Pain officially became 10 years old in October and has been an ARIA Top 500 song for 497 straight weeks.

Arguably most impressive of all is Cold Play- the only group to have two songs on the list- they did the impossible…twice!

Here are ten songs that have had incredible staying power:

522 weeks:  Stronger – Kanye West (DEF/UMA), 2007
514 weeks: Chasing Cars – Snow Patrol  (PDR/UMA), 2006
512 weeks: Sweet Child O’Mine – Guns N’ Roses (GEF/UMA), 1987
497 weeks: Low – Flo Rida Feat. T-Pain (ATL/WAR), 2007
495 weeks: I’m Yours – Jason Mraz (ATL/WAR), 2008
488 weeks: Livin’ On A Prayer – Bon Jovi (UMA), 1986
478 weeks: Viva La Vida – Coldplay (EMI), 2008
473 weeks: Sex On Fire – Kings Of Leon (RCA/SME), 2008
458 weeks: The Scientist – Coldplay (CAP/EMI), 2002
455 weeks: Smells Like Teen Spirit – Nirvana (GEF/UMA), 1991
